Rose Parade float floral directors begin ordering flowers and dry materials months before the parade, some as early as the previous April, and continue ordering each month depending on how much lead time growers need. Some are California-grown and others come from international sources. Here’s a look at some of the flowers on the 2012 Trader Joe’s float and where they are coming from.
