Jessica Sanchez vs. Phillip Phillips: ‘American Idol’ performances
After weeks of Billy Joel, Madonna and Whitney Huston tributes, the end of “American Idol” is upon us. Jessica Sanchez and Phillip Phillips reached the finish line Tuesday night and sang three last songs for the judges.
Steven Tyler’s prophecy that Phillips was “the one” came true, extending the boys’ streak another year. But Sanchez proved an able fighter, making the most of her judges’ save to become the first ever “saved” contestant to make the finals.
