The Shrine Auditorium stage has been temporarily expanded to accommodate the singers and musicians who’ll be performing Mahler’s Eighth, called “Symphony of a Thousand.” Gustavo Dudamel will conduct the L.A. Philharmonic and the Simón Bolívar Orchestra of Venezuela.
