Etiwanda fire in Rancho Cucamonga

The Etiwanda Fire started at approximately 8:00 am on April 30, 2014. The fire is 2143 acres and containment is at 98%. Investigators have determined that the Etiwanda Fire was started by an escaped illegal campfire. They believe the illegal campfire may have been smoldering for a few days until the strong winds blew embers into nearby brush.
