Dave Annable talks to the Los Angeles Times TV writer Yvonne Villarreal about his news series ‘Red Band Society,’ which premieres Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The Fox series centers around a group of seriously ill kids and teenagers who find common ground while living in the pediatric ward of a Los Angeles hospital. Annable plays Dr. McAndrew, the compassionate head doctor, a role based in part on a real-life L.A. based physician.
