Los Angeles County voters overwhelmingly chose to reelect President Obama on Tuesday. The president racked up a margin of nearly 1 million votes over Republican nominee Mitt Romney.
This map shows the results in the more than 4,600 precincts where voters cast a ballot in person, which amounted to greater than 80% of the 2.3 million votes counted. It excludes approximately 440,000 votes cast by mail as well as provisional ballots, some of which have not yet been tallied.
