Disparities found in street-sweeping tickets

L.A. city parking officers wrote more than 660,000 street-sweeping citations in 2012, costing drivers more than $50 million. The denser a neighborhood’s population, the more likely it is to rack up tickets. This map allows you to see how many tickets were given by neighborhood or by street block.
